i am a pianist, guitarist, producer and mastering engineer. i tour regularly with my critically acclaimed group death's dynamic shroud.
my most recent work is for the NUWRLD Mixtape Club, a monthly album service i co-manage as part owner of the independent record label Ghost Diamond LLC. over the past five years alone, i have written and produced over 20 full-length albums through the Mixtape Club.
for this portfolio, i've distilled my recent work into four curated samplers. each reflects a key artistic obsession or pursuit core to my work.
songwriting: my first musical passion. while death's dynamic shroud is known for our experimental electronic music, the NUWRLD Mixtape Club has allowed me to continue to refine and develop my lifelong study of Beatlesque, guitar-driven songwriting.
video game music: a major influence on my work is the vast canon of video game music, particularly the compositions of Japanese composers like Tomoko Sasaki and Naoshi Mizuta. much of my music seeks to capture the visceral joy i feel when actively focusing on what was intended to blend into the background.
ambient: some of my earliest memories are of drifting to sleep to the soothing melodies and expansive landscapes of Ray Lynch. ambient music has the rare ability to become a constant, subtle presence - wrapping itself around us and harmonizing with the essence of life.
composition: all of my music is deeply rooted in Western classical harmony. i draw the most inspiration from the lush, emotive landscapes of Romantic adagios and late 19th-century orchestral works. this selection showcases my ongoing exploration of classical influences in contemporary forms.
